Bonjour à tous et à toutes,

Le Cernunnos Pagan Festival mélange à la fois la musique trad et folk et le metal Pagan, genre de metal qui s'inspire des traditions celtiques, nordiques ou d'Europe de l'est.

C'est aussi un lieu de convivialité où il y a une vraie fête médiévale avec son marché, des stands d'artisans (cuir, bijou, vêtements, coutellerie, corne, etc...), des animations qui se dérouleront toute la journée ainsi qu'une taverne où vous pourrez manger des plats typiques médiévaux. Vous pouvez venir costumer.

Cette année pas moins de dix groupes joueront sur les deux scènes de la Machine du Moulin Rouge et nous vous réservons pleins de surprises.

Corvus Corax
Corvus Corax, ou la formation allemande qui vous Fera danser, bouger au rythme de leurs percussions frénétiques ! Ils vous emporteront dans une somptueuse ronde Pagan, dans des chansons médiévales revisitées et mâtinées de rock. Depuis leur premier album en 1988, cette talentueuse troupe nous a permis de nous évader dans le passé, tout en bougeant dans une énergie bien ancrée dans le présent. L'occasion ce soir de découvrir leur nouvel album, Sverker, mais aussi de parcourir leurs grands classiques. Nul doute qu'ils enchanteront cette fin de festival dans une danse endiablée.

Menhir
Formé en 1995, à Thuringe, Menhir est l'un des groupes majeurs de la scène Viking metal et digne successeur de Bathory. Leur musique est un voyage au temps des fiers
guerriers germaniques, mélangeant subtilement Black Metal, ambiances épiques et chant clair... à venir écouter pour leur premier passage en France.

Belenos
Belenos, dont le nom provient d'un Dieu gaulois dans la mythologie celtique, est fondé en décembre 1995 par Loïc Cellier. Le style du groupe a la particularité de sortir des sentiers déjà tracés du Black Metal, se caractérisant par le chant français, la présence de chœurs masculins et l'utilisation de guitares folk.

Waylander
Crée en 1993 par les frères O'Hagan, Waylander est considéré comme l'un des groupes fondateurs du mouvement folk/métal. Les riffs lourds se marient dans l'harmonie de la musique traditionnelle irlandaise. Alors venir au Cernunnos était une évidence surtout avec la sortie du nouvel album "Kindred Spirits", les trolls n'ont qu'à bien se tenir!

Nydvind
Nydvind, le groupe parisien de pagan métal, puise son inspiration du côté de nos contrées nordiques et leurs immenses étendues blanches et glacées. Le groupe prépare son 3ème album pour 2013. Intitulé "Seas of Oblivion", cette nouvelle pierre angulaire du pagan metal français, montrera Nydvind sous un nouveau visage, plus épique que jamais.

Drakwald est un groupe de pagan death metal originaire de Tours, dont la musique est un mélange entre le death metal scandinave et le pagan folk. Les influences du groupe
s'appuient sur la culture nordique ou sur des contes fantastiques tel que les romans de David Gemmell ou de Robin Hobb.

Hypocras
Hypocras a des racines musicales fortement ancrées dans le monde du metal. Le côté folk, totalement géré par la flûte à bec, amène une ambiance mélodique qui enrichit, sans occulter, le côté agressif. Celui-ci est à la base de la musique du groupe et trouve sa source dans des riffs et rythmes de thrash, de death voire de black metal. Un mélange envoûtant, épique et explosif !

L' Equipe du Cernunnos

Hello!

The Cernunnos Pagan Festival is unique in France with its traditional and folk groups but also with its metal pagan, a style inspired by traditional celtic, nordic or Eastern Europe music.
It is also a place where people meet, where a genuine medieval feast is held with its market, craftsman stalls (leather, jewellery, clothes, cutlery, horns, etc...), and various activities unfolding all day long. You will also find a Tavern where you will have typical medieval meal served.
This year no less than ten bands are scheduled to play on teh two stages of the Machine du Moulin Rouge and we have lots of surprises for you!!

The name Belenos comes from a Gallic god from the Celtic mygtholog. The band was formed in 1995 by Loïc Cellier. Their style is one of a kind in the Black Metal field: French lyrics, masculine chorus and folk guitars.

Formed in 1993 by the O'Hagan brothers, Waylander is considered as one of the founders of the folk/metal movement. The heavy riffs unite in the harmony of the traditional Irish music. Nydvind is a Parisian pagan metal band, which takes its inspiration from the Nordic countries, their vast white and frozen landscapes.
